Welcome to the Music Department of the Newlife SDA Church Berlin. Our mission is to proclaim God’s love and His message of hope and salvation through music and worship.
1 Peter 4:10 tells us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”. Be it through song, playing a musical instrument or leading the worship during church services, our Music Team aims to use their gifts for God’s glory and to elevate the spirits of the congregation each Sabbath through joyful adoration.
The NLC Choir and the Children’s Choir participate regularly in church services and other events throughout Berlin. If you enjoy singing, we invite you to join us for one of our practices. Regular members and visitors alike are welcome!

Do I or my child need any musical knowledge to join the NLC Choir or the Children’s Choir?
No! Anyone with a love for music and singing is invited to join, regardless of any prior training or musical knowledge. We are not a professional ensemble, but our dedicated choir leaders will guide you through the process of learning new songs and singing as part of a group. Our members have a varied range of experience singing in choirs – some only joined a few months ago, while others have had decades of practice. We all come together as one and enjoy learning from one another, no matter how long we have been singing!
